The continuing infiltration of Washington by radical Islamists is an escalating problem for America’s national security, but it is not a new phenomenon. From calling the Food Hood murders by a man shouting “Alahu Akhbar” (Allah is Great) workplace violence, to reading foreign terrorists their Miranda rights and trying them in civilian court, to redefining the English language to eliminate terms that are “offensive” to Muslims from use in federal programs, the government is giving political correctness an undeserved and very dangerously elevated position, raising it above the nation’s security and reality.
For several decades, the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliate organizations have successfully spearheaded persistent efforts to infiltrate the highest levels of participation in US public affairs by people associated with radical Islam and terrorist organizations.
One of the early leaders in this effort was a man by the name of Abdulrahman Alamoudi, once a pillar of the Muslim community in America, who became a Washington fixture until he was caught and went to prison for participating in a terrorist plot. He was a colleague of both radical Islamist cleric Yusef Qaradawi and Washington anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist. And despite his unspoken support for Hamas and Hezbollah, he was a frequent guest of the White House.
With Qaradawi, Alamoudi helped to found the website IslamOnline and the Islamist Society of Boston, Boston’s first mosque (the one at which Boston bombers Tsarnaev prayed). The ISB mosque in Cambridge and the affiliated Islamic Cultural Center in Roxbury are both managed by the Muslim American Society (MSA) , an American subsidiary of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Norquist was Alamoudi’s key to the circles of power in Washington. Through Norquist’s efforts, Alamoudi became a welcome guest at the White House and met several times with the President Clinton, who appointed him his administration’s Islamic affairs advisor. On half a dozen occasions, he represented the State Department at overseas lectured and was appointed by Clinton to set up a program which provided Muslim chaplains for federal prisons.So important was this program, that only those Imams who were approved by Saudi Arabia could be admitted to the program. The program became a source of radicalization for thousands of disaffected inmates since the program started.
With Norquist’s help, Alamoudi became a representative of the Muslim community in America to the highest circles in Washington. But when he was caught bringing money into the US illegally to help fund a plot to murder the heir to the Saudi throne, his plans began to unravel along with his career. He is currently serving a 23-year sentence in a federal penitentiary, but his story did not teach Washington much.
Alamoudi is only one example. One does not have to look far for others.
Someone who is arguably one of the most influential people in the White House is Valeri Jarrett, born in Shiraz, Iran, and now senior point man for the president. “I trust her to speak for me, particularly when we’re dealing with delicate issues” said Barack Obama in a New York Times interview. Jarret is now leading secret negotiations with Iran in Doha, Qatar, as Obama’s representative.
Huma Abedin was Deputy Chief of Staff for Hillary Clinton and Clinton’s closest aide when she was Secretary of State. Abedin’s mother, Saleha Abedin, is an important member of the Muslim Sisterhood, and a well-known figure in the International Islamic Council for Dawa and Relief (banned in Israel for supporting Hamas), as well as the International Islamic Committee for Woman and Child (IICWC), an organization that her husband, Dr. Saleha Abedin, headed prior to his death. Not coincidentally, the IICWC charter was written by Sheikh Qaradawi, in conjunction with several other members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Abedin’s brother, Hassan Abedin works at Oxford University and sits with a number of Muslim Brotherhood members on the Board of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS). His OCIS associates include al-Qaeda-linked Omar Naseef and Muslim Brotherhood leader Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi (see reference above). Naseef is Board Chairman of the OCIS.
These are only a few examples of the rampant connection between our national policies of political correctness and the presence of radical Islamists inside our government and community organizations. The following story is one more example of how loosely our government treats the threat of radical Islam to America.

White House Hosts Israel-Hating Radical Muslim

White House officials met this month with Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, a deputy of radical Egyptian cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood who has been banned from entering the United States, reported the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT).
The June 13 meeting took place on the same day the Obama administration announced plans to arm Syria’s rebel forces, the report noted.
IPT noted that al-Qaradawi, the founder of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), endorses Palestinian Authority Arab suicide bombers and supports Hamas in its fight against Israel. The report also said that bin Bayyah, like al-Qaradawi, also “refuses to label the acts of groups such as Hamas, Hizbullah or the Islamic Jihad as terrorism.”
The White House reportedly sought the meeting with bin Bayyah, the IPT report declared.
According to IPT, in a post written in Arabic on his own website, bin Bayyah quoted National Security Council official Gayle Smith as saying, “We asked for this meeting to learn from you and we need to be looking for new mechanisms to communicate with you and the Association of Muslim Scholars.”

Other senior officials that bin Bayyah said were in attendance include Rashad Hussain, the U.S. special envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation; White House spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri; and National Security Adviser Tom Donilon, according to IPT.
Bin Bayyah reportedly lobbied the White House to “take urgent action” to help Syrian rebels fighting to overthrow the regime of Bashar al-Assad during the meeting.
In granting bin Bayyah a visa, noted IPT, White House officials ignored his radical statements as well as his close connection to Qaradawi. The IUMS’s hostility toward Israel, and its support of terrorists, is well documented. Bin Bayyah falls comfortably in line with that view.
For example, in a 2011 statement on his website, he criticized the West for placing terrorist groups such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad and others in the same category as Al-Qaeda:
“[P]lacing the Palestinian resistance, which defends internationally recognized rights, on an equal footing with intercontinental terrorist organizations (Al-Qaeda) is not based on any moral principle and would be detrimental to the cause of the fight against terrorism and mix the cards and raises questions to the world conscience and serves terrorists.”
The IUMS welcomed Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh as a member in February 2012. The “Union will spare nothing in the service of the Palestinian people, praising the jihad of the Palestinian people with the leadership of the Hamas movement for resistance,” Haniyeh’s induction certificate said, according to IPT.
Qaradawi, who is a citizen of Qatar, in January of 2009 claimed that Hitler had put the Jews in their place and that the Holocaust was “divine punishment.”
He recently headed a delegation to Gaza, where he said that Israel has no right to exist, adding that nobody was allowed to cede “any part of Palestine.”
Earlier this month Qaradawi slammed the Hizbullah terrorist group as the “party of Satan” that seeks to “sow discord” among Muslims, because of its support for Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.
